Guruvayur sri krishna temple

Guruvayur became divine on account of the "tapas" performed by Lord Siva and later by the Prechethas (the ten sons of Pracheenabarhis and Suvarna are together called Prechethas) in the Rudratheertham – the sacred tank on the northern side of the present temple.

Pazhani murugan temple

This temple is one among the six Padaiveedu's of Lord Muruga. ie. the 3rd Padaiveedu namely Arulmigu Thiruvaavinankudi temple is part and parts of this temple. Thai Poosam and Panguni Uthiram festivals are very famous festivals and large number of devotees coming here at that time.


Kalpathy Siva Temple

Kalpathi (Kalpathy) Ratholsavam (Kalpathi Chariot Festival) is an annual Hindu Temple festival in the Kalpathi village of Palakkad district in Kerala state, south India. The festival is at the Sri Visalakshi Sametha Sri Viswanatha Swamy temple where the deities are Lord Siva (Lord Viswanatha) and his consort Visalakshi, another name for Parvati.

Madurai meenakshi temple

The name of Mother-Goddess is Meenakshi, which in chaste Tamil is known as Angayarkanni, meaning her eyes are in the shape of a fish. As the fish protects its eggs with its eye sight, so protects Mother Meenakshi Her devotee with a very look of Her eyes. The fish does not have eye lash, so the eyes never close and ever open.


Sabarimala ayyappan temple

Sabarimala Sree Dharma Sastha Temple, dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, is the most famous and prominent among all the Sastha temples in Kerala. The temple is situated on a hilltop (about 3000 feet above sea level) named Sabarimala in Pathanamthitta district, which is unique in many respects.

Thiruvilwamala temple

Vilwadrinatha Temple is a Hindu Temple located in Thiruvilwamala, Thrissur district of Kerala. Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, and his brother Lord Lakshmana are the main deities of this temple. This is one of the four major temples in Kerala dedicated to Lord Rama.

Nelliyampathy hills

Lying in the lap of Western Ghats, Nelliyampathy Hills are decorated with a wonderful sight of tea, coffee, cardamom and Orange plantation. Standing loftily at an elevation varying from 467 m to 1572 m above the sea level, the hill provides the visitors with a chance for trekking as well as a breath taking view of Palakkad.

Parambikulam wildlife sanctuary

Parambikulam Tiger Reserve is a well protected ecological portion in the Nelliampathy - Anamalai landscape of the Southern Western Ghats in India. It is located in the Palakkad District of Kerala. It is one of the biodiversity hot spot in the world supports diverse habitat types and endemism.
